Felting Series 1: Felted Jacket - July 21, 22, 23, 24, 9am to 4pm CST
Cost: $400 ($100/Day)
Join fiber artist Natalya Brashovetska in making a gorgeous one piece felted sweater or jacket. Learn how to make a pattern, account for shrinkage, incorporate textures and designs, make sleeves that fit, and finish edges beautifully. No sewing involved.
Natalya, a native of Ukraine now living in Cyprus, is an accomplished felt artist and fashion designer who has lectured around the world. Natalya shares tips continuously while focusing attention on each individual. Bring your ideas and creativity and be ready for a rewarding experience!
A list of supplies necessary for the class will be provided upon registration.
Class Series 2: Expand Your Felting Knowledge and Learn to Make felted Flowers, Slippers, and Purses. Beginner Friendly - July 25, 26, 27, 9am to 4pm CST
Cost: $300 ($100/Day)
Class Series 3: Felted Boots - July 29, 30, 31, and August 1st, 9am to 4pm CST.
Cost $400 + $140 Materials Fee. Total = $540
Materials Fee Includes: Shoe lasts, innersoles, soles, heel box, (made for your specific measurements), carded Bergschaf wool (400 gr), leather lining, eyelets, waxed thread, awl-hook, plastic gloves, rubber bands, glue brush, cotton gauze, curved needle, tailor’s chalk and resist material.
